2nd Annual Janine Pommy Vega Poetry Festival 

Saturday, July 7, 7:30pm at the Woodstock Artists Assoc. & Museum

$15 / $8 members 

Poetry performance honoring, Beat, activist, internationally renowned
Woodstock home girl poet, Janine Pommy Vega. 
Legendary performance poet, musician, journalist, comic,
Mikhail Horowitz will render a set of Janine Pommy Vega’s work
in his own inimitable style. With Andy Clausen,
Dave Thomas, Victoria Sullivan, Pamela Twining and Nina Sheldon.

FAMILY DAY at the Zena Cornfield  

Saturday, July 7, 10 am to 12 noon (FREE)

(Rain date Saturday, July 14)

 Explore the theme of earth, air, and water using art and natural materials.
Family art: draw, make things, explore! Meet at the
Zena Cornfield picnic table, Zena Road.   

Materials supplied. Adult supervision required. Pre-registration recommended.

Artwork created at the workshop may be shown in an exhibition
in the WAAM Youth Gallery in September.

“What does it mean to go into nature, to look, to receive,
to explore, to connect?” Artists and naturalists will share
their own unique ways of engaging nature
and then open the discussion to audience contributions.
