Poetry Readings by Sandra Liu, Anna Moschovakis and Jeffrey Yang with a musical performance by the Luna Light Orchestra conducted by Jeffrey Joe Nelson

About the poets and musicians  
Each piece of Sandra Liu’s work is only published once. Pieces have been distributed through Ugly Duckling Presse, 1913: A Journal of Forms, on Hoboeye, and in the Beloit Poetry Journal. She lives and works in southern NY.Anna Moschovakis’s recent books are You and Three Others Are Approaching a Lake and The Jokers, a translation of La violence et la dérision by Egyptian-French novelist Albert Cossery. She is an editor at
Ugly Duckling Presse and lives in Delaware County, NY.

Jeffrey Yang is the author of the poetry collections Vanishing-Line and An Aquarium. He is the translator of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Liu Xiaobo’s June Fourth Elegies and Su Shi’s East Slope, and the editor of
Birds, Beasts, and Seas: Nature Poems from New Directions and Time of Grief: Mourning Poems.
He works as an editor at New Directions Publishing and New York Review Books.

The Lunar Light Orchestra provides improvised  accompaniment to any reader requesting such services. The current orchestra-made up of Jarrod Annis,
Ben Miller, Jed Shahar, and Dan Veksler-also performs and records compositions scored by its own members.
