A Sense of Place; An Intercultural Collaboration of Artists
This exhibition will consist of an onsite display of small works consisting of archival copies, prints, and originals of the artist’s works presenting a variety of media; pastels, acrylics, water colors, oils, mosaics, photographs, and sculpture. There will also be a virtual show which will be a power point of ten images by each participating artist and her artwork. The catalogue will contain a history of this collaboration, a statement of purpose, artists reflections, and images from the exhibition.
Under the umbrella organization Artists Worldwide Exchange (AWE), PROCIDAMERICA is the third endeavor after VERONAMERICA I, and VERONAMERICA II.

New Works From Calligraphic Series
After Yale’s residency at the American Academy in Rome last May, he worked with a master printmaker, Vittorio Avila, in Naples, on a small edition of etchings. There he made contact with Andrea Ingenito, the gallery owner, who subsequently invited him to show his work.Yale will also be having a solo show at the Albert Shahanian Gallery in Rhinebeck, June 22 – July 28 showing some of the same work. Personal Structures; Time, Space, and Existence
Laura Gurton’s abstract paintings were selected to be part of this exhibition which brings together an extraordinary combination of established artists next to artists who oeuvre is less known. The exhibition which is curated and organized by the Global Art Affairs Foundation features a broad variety of artistic media such as videos, sculptures, paintings, photos, installations with light, wallpaper, and performance. Since the participating artists originate from diverse cultures and are of very different ages, Time, Space, and Existence are highlighted from unusual points of view. Art Murphy Solo Show
The opening reception is set for Sept. 20, 2013 and will run for three weeks. Art Murphy has been photographing fossils of the Catskill, New York area. A couple of years ago Art photographed the fossils in the museum in Florence and as a result was asked to exhibit his amazing photographs there. Art believes that focussing a lens on these fossils helps to open a personal window to a relatively unseen view of life’s earliest stages.
