Music Festival Warns of Traffic Jams


“Woodstock and West Hurley will be impacted by traffic related to this summer’s Hudson Project Music and Arts Festival in Saugerties, according to a promoter of the event.

Jonathan Fordin, of MCP Presents, told the Woodstock Town Board that about 2,500 vehicles directed on state Route 375 to Route 212 starting the evening of July 10, when the gates open for the concert, which is being held at the Winston Farm in nearby Saugerties.

Woodstock Councilman Jay Wenk said the traffic plan was poorly created and will create problems for the town’s residents.”
