Dear Friends and Fans of The Golden Notebook,
It takes a COMMUNITY to keep an independent bookstore in business. Thanks to you, The Golden Notebook Bookstore has been able to do exactly what it loves: sell books in and around our amazing small town since 1978.
Today, we are thrilled to announce that, in honor of Indies First on Small Business Saturday, two new members of our Hudson Valley community, Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer will be in the store selling books on Saturday, November 29th at 11:00 am.
Neil and Amanda have been unbelievably supportive of independent bookstores not only in the United States. but also in the U.K., Australia, and honestly, all over the world! They are the 2014 spokespeople for Indies First on Small Business Saturday. They will be selling books at their three community bookstores in the Hudson Valley on Saturday, November 29th zipping around between The Golden Notebook to Oblong Books & Music in Rhinebeck and to The Spotty Dog Books & Ale in Hudson.
Just like you, they are showing their love of THIS community through bookselling at a tiny independent bookstore. And that is so unbelievably cool! Please come out to the store on Saturday to THANK THEM….and to buy a book!
