Sublime Passage, 2015 by Susan Spencer Crowe

The Gallery at R&F is pleased to present Susan Spencer Crowe’s solo exhibition, Encaustic/Form II. With some earlier work and new work, this sculpture exhibit expands on her March 2015 award-winning solo show, Encaustic/Form I, at the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum, Woodstock, NY. Encaustic/Form II follows Ms. Crowe’s sculptural explorations from 2012-2015. Beginning with pristine geometry and simple, glowing color, her work develops increasingly complex geometric form, and a riot of color and pattern. Ms. Crowe merges a crystalline, sophisticated urban sensibility with rich light, textures and form inspired by the Mid-Hudson Valley. The exhibition is on view from May 2nd through July 24th with an opening on Saturday, May 2nd from 5:00-7:00pm
