This Sunday, July 26 at 2pm
The Curator of Music in the Woods: 100 Years of Maverick Concerts now on view in the Towbin Museum Wing, will discuss the creative spirit that animated the founding and development of the Maverick and persists to this day.

Susana Torruella Leval is Director Emerita of El Museo del Barrio, a Puerto Rican, Latino and Latin American museum in New York. She served as the museum’s director from 1994 to 2002, after four years as its Chief Curator. Ms. Torruella Leval is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Aperture Foundation, and Dreamyard. In addition, she is on the Editorial Board of the International Center of the Art of the Americas.
